Marsha Lynn Caffrey

Marsha Lynn Caffrey, 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 7 at 10:30 at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 6 from 5:00- 7:00 at Memorial Services of Iowa chapel.

Marsha was born April 12, 1951 in Cherokee, Iowa to Edwin and DeLoris (Peterson) Johnson. She grew up in Aurelia and moved to Des Moines where she attended school and worked as a radiology technician at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She married David Caffrey in 1973. Together they raised their family in Ankeny and enjoyed 40 blessed years of marriage. Marsha was an amazing baker, gifted artist, loved to garden and enjoyed watching athletics, especially the Iowa State Cyclones.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Ryan (Kris) and Matthew (Stephanie); grandchildren, Sean, Ian, Caitlin and Arthur, brother Dave (Sue); sister, Kathy (Bob) Matthews. Welcoming her in Heaven are her husband, David; son, Joseph, her father Edwin and her mother DeLoris who preceded her in death.
