Mary Rose Kent, 88, of Ankeny passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday August 23rd at Ankeny Memorial Chapel (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd). A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
Mary Rose was born in Guthrie County June 19, 1927 to John and Rosetta Rees.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Duaine Kent; son Leland (Sharon) Booth of Pella; daughter, Jenny (Jim) Duede of Ankeny; 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 8 great-grandchildren; a brother Milo of Guthrie Center, IA and 2 sisters, Juanita of Fox Island, WA, and Bessie of Onawa, IA.
Mary Rose was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Booth, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
