Nancy Gatzke

Nancy Diann (Newton) Gatzke, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Mill Pond in Ankeny, IA. Nancy was born September 23, 1933, in Kohler, WI and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1951.

On March 13, 1958, she married her soulmate, C.L. (Lee) Gatzke and resided in Des Moines, IA. They enjoyed 45 years together until his passing in 2003.

Nancy is survived by her two sons Michael (Jane) Gatzke of Ankeny, IA and Corey Gatzke of West Des Moines, IA; two grandchildren, Katelyn Gatzke and Connor Gatzke; and her great-grandson, Greyson Gatzke, all of Ankeny, IA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia and Roger Newton of Sheboygan Falls, WI.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Kohler, WI.
